About David Snowdon
David has been working professionally with trees since the early 1980’s, firstly with rope, harness and chisels and more recently with a laptop.
David has a unique ‘coalface’ perspective on arboricultural and environmental stewardship within New Zealand’s legislative and bureaucratic environment.
In 2010, David’s presentation to the New Zealand Arboricultural Association Conference was entitled “Ecosystem Servicing, Spatial Planning and Schedules of Notable Trees – Seeing the Woods and the Trees in the New Zealand Context
” and, at this year’s conference, he will follow up on similar themes but from a 2016 perspective.
In his spare time, David plants trees.
