Good Practice Guide (GPG), Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) and Guidelines are the generally accepted industry standards for tree care practices.

They are voluntary industry consensus standards developed by NZ Arb or in conjunction with government departments and/or other tree care industries.

The mission is to develop consensus performance standards based on current research and sound practice for writing specifications to manage trees, shrubs, and other woody plants.

In addition to Guideline documents, training Videos is a fast growing area. NZ Arb links you to the ISA’s Arborpod site with tree climbing rigging videos and other multimedia resources.
