He angitūtanga: The opportunity


AIM Services is a leading provider of open space and full facility maintenance services, looking after Auckland's parks, sports fields, streets, community buildings, and the airport. In addition, we are also offering expert horticultural, landscaping and plant supply services to local government and private enterprise.


As an Assistant Arborist, you will be assisting with tree maintenance throughout the ‘Rua’ contract area and beyond. As part of the arboricultural team your duties will include all aspects of modern arboriculture, such as tree removal, tree pruning, clearing debris and cleaning site as well as assisting with tree planting and aftercare maintenance.



He kōrero mōu: About you


Naturally you will have passion and flair for arboriculture and good tree identification skills. A strong Health and Safety focus is essential. Previous experience in horticulture or a similar background whould be required. A good level of fitness and agility and the ability to work unsupervised would be key to your success in this role.


A clean, full NZ driver's license with manual driving skills is a must. Having a Growsafe certificate would be an added bonus.

Your base location will be Henderson, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered weekend duties and over time as required.
