Life Members

Life Membership recognises highly valued and sustained service to NZ Arb as an organisation. 

Life Membership is intended to acknowledge individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Association itself through long-term involvement, leadership, governance, administration, sector development, education, advocacy, mentoring, or voluntary service. 

Life Membership would normally reflect significant contribution over a considerable period of time, typically extending across at least 10 years and often across multiple areas of service to the Association.  

While recipients may also have made important contributions to arboriculture more broadly, Life Membership principally recognises service to NZ Arb rather than contribution to the wider profession or industry.  

Life Membership is awarded at the discretion of the Association and may not necessarily be awarded annually.
