We are a privately owned company, operating within the Wellington & Wairarapa region. We are a leader in the Arboriculture sector, providing all aspects of modern tree work.
We have an exciting opportunity for a manager to join our management team. This role will be based in our Lower Hutt office. The role will require close working with our General Manager and Managing Director to price, manage and organize all aspects of arboricultural work for our key clients.
About you:
Proven management experience (highly preferable)
Previous arboriculture pricing, estimating, and project management experience (highly preferable)
Highly motivated and a proven team player
Personable, has a positive attitude with the ability to lead staff
Ability to meet and report on key performance indicators for clients and our business
Ability to foster and grow positive relationships within our company and with our clients
Exhibits clear and methodical work practices
Strong communicator and organizational skills
Strong knowledge of the arboricultural industry
Proven experience using technology including Apple ios, GeoOp, Fulcurm, Xero, Microsoft suite; Excel, Sharepoint, Teams
Ability to work to deadlines and be self-driven
What you need to succeed in this role:
Ability to problem solve, make quick decisions and work in a fast-paced team environment
Minimum 5 years practical experience in field work with a NZQA Level 4 Arboriculture qualification (or overseas equivalent) with previous management experience.
Proven abilities using technology including Apple ios, GeoOp, Fulcurm, Xero, Microsoft suite; excel, Sharepoint, Teams
Full class 1 NZ Drivers license as a minimum, class 2 preferred
Strong knowledge of arboriculture industry health and safety and associated compliance
Strong knowledge of The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

To be eligible for this position you must currently be living in NZ and have a legal right to work in this country (i.e. NZ Citizenship, be a permanent resident, or hold full working rights). Arb Innovations ltd is also an NZ Immigration Accredited employer, which means that we can support visa applications under the AEWV.
Candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a medical exam, and Ministry of Justice checks as part of the recruitment process (at Arb Innovations’ cost).
This is a permanent and full-time position working Monday to Friday.
