We are looking to add skilled, dynamic, hardworking Arborists to our passionate and professional team. Whether you are recently qualified or a seasoned, battle-hardened Arborist, this could be a great opportunity for you to take the next step in the Arboricultural industry.
We ensure the management, maintenance, long-term protection, and enhancements of our client tree assets by providing specialist Horticultural and Arboricultural advice, in the Canterbury area (with occasional work in other regions of the South Island)
The role includes:
Providing specialist horticultural and Arboricultural advice, assistance, and guidance, including the provision of practical, scientific Arboricultural solutions
Coordinating and ensuring the management, maintenance, long-term protection, and enhancement of our client’s tree assets
Undertaking specialist Arboriculture works to ensure efficient replacement and maintenance of trees
Providing support, planning and technical advice and documentation to internal and external stakeholders in relation to arboriculture services
Treating trees with fertilisers and insecticides as required
Developing, implementing, and reviewing Arboricultural strategies and policies to ensure best practice service delivery
Along with pride in your work and a positive attitude, you bring to our team:
Certification in Arboriculture or related industry qualification (at least NZ Level 3 qualification or equivalent international qualification)
Minimum 3 years’ experience on-the-job training and experience
Class 1 Driver’s license, preferably Class 2
Experience with using machinery and equipment
Proven ability working both in a team and independently when required
Thorough understanding of, and capability to adhere to Health and Safety regulations
Exceptional people & communication skills
Ability to Identify areas of improvement and enabling staff to perform in the demanding industry
