The value of urban trees and the current tree protection rules. Stacy Colyer (GreensceneNZ) will talk about the ‘Stop The Chop’ campaign. Mels Barton (The Tree Council) on working together to protect our urban ngahere. Jessica Hiscox (Environmental & Sustainability Manager, Ngati Whatua Orakei) on sustainability, what it means, and how arborists have a major role to play. There will also be a discussion on the proposed RMA changes and next steps.
