About the Role


As our Operations Manager in this newly created role due to business growth, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of our crews and ensure our jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll be responsible for allocating work, managing resources, supporting operational staff, and ensuring our clients receive top-quality service every time.


You will:


  • Lead and support arborist teams on daily operations

  • Plan, schedule, and allocate jobs across multiple worksites

  • Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards

  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company policies

  • Maintain equipment and fleet management processes

  • Manage client relationships and respond to operational queries

  • Drive continuous improvement across processes and workflows

  • Work closely with the leadership team on strategy, staffing, and growth

  • Collaborate with HR on all things people


About You:


We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and confident with people. You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in project or operations management experience in ideally the arboriculture, landscaping industries or trades preferred

  • A strong commitment to H&S

  • Great communication and leadership skills

  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and time-management abilities

  • Full NZ driver licence

  • Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

  • Have legal right to work in NZ
