About the role
Working within the Parks team, this pivotal role is responsible for the delivery of services relating to publicly owned park trees throughout the city, ensuring the levels of service provided are fit for purpose for the safety, enjoyment and use parks. As the face of Council tree management, you will act as the Service Managers Representative for the protection of tree assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining a current working knowledge of all laws and regulations that relate to arboriculture
Offering expert technical advice and to make recommendations for decisions relating to tree assets
Provide excellent customer service to residents, Council staff and stakeholders alike
About you
You will have effective communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships, as you will present at Community Board meetings to elected members and the public and provide them with prompt and accurate responses. This role requires you to work with a high level of autonomy, your attention to detail and organisational skills re essential as it's important that you know how to connect on all levels, from field operations to a governance level as you'll be liaising with various stakeholders.

Relevant tertiary qualification
Significant experience in tree management
A full current driver's licence.
