About the Job
About the role:
Reporting to the Reserves Operations Manager you will be our ‘go to' representative for expert technical advice on trees assets, providing recommendations and reports to internal and external stakeholders. You'll contribute to policy reviews, codes of practice and tree management processes.
As well as being our technical expert you will:
Oversee end to end service delivery relating to trees across Selwyn
Manage contractor relationships ensuring agreed levels of service are met
Undertake audit inspections and condition assessments
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act (2015)
About you:
Our ideal candidate will come from an ‘on the ground' leadership role and be looking to take the next step in their career. You'll have a minimum of 5 years practical work experience and have excellent communication skills with a methodical approach to your work.
You will also have:
A relevant qualification in Arboriculture (Level 3 minimum) or equivalent industry experience
Full drivers licence
Expert understanding of Arboriculture industry best practice, H&S and compliance
Experience and confidence in working with a range of customers and contractors
